Public Relations-
A public relations professional builds awareness and interest, serves as a spokesperson and manages the flow of information to the public for a person, product or company. S/He is an effective communicator in print, person and on the phone. A successful campaign presents a client in the best possible light. Traditionally, this is accomplished by sending press releases to journalists and placing stories in print and broadcast media and on the Internet. A press release conveys a message, resembles a news story in format and is usually sent through email.
Online Educators-
At some stage of your careers to conduct research, seek grant funding, publish literature and instruct students.
IT-
Maintains network and communication systems for an organization in one or several locations. These professionals are responsible for an organization's computer and electronic data availability, integrity and security.
Marketing-
Depending on the unique position and company, a marketing employee can have a wide range of responsibilities. By evaluating market research, marketing employees can plan promotions, help develop products, determine product popularity, help influence pricing, and manage advertising, sales, and more.
Fundraising-
Attending chamber of commerce meetings and events, professional organization events, continuing education seminars and trade shows brings a fundraiser in contact with decision-makers and professionals. Building a large personal and business network is about making connections and friendships that can lead to opportunity. Networking is much easier with the Internet and social media. S/He is in charge of selling the organization and its cause to potential donors. Bringing new donors online takes time, finesse and charisma. The donor has to feel like his money will provide the maximum effect for society. Research and development is a key to success.fundraiser must know her market and donor or investor base. Knowing as much about a potential donor or investor as possible makes it easier to identify opportunity.must keep informed on the progress of the operation or fund to which the donor or investor has given money.
Web Designing-
Web designers must be able to design using code as well as coding programs. The more types of code and programs a designer knows how to use, the better. Common codes include HTML, XHTML, Javascript and PHP. Web designers must often create or obtain photographs and graphics for a website, or delegate someone else to. Web designers must often either write website copy or be in charge of delegating it.Web designers should know the standard differences in style and function between sites for different purposes, such as business, personal, entertainment and information. Web designers who can build website functions such as quizzes, message boards and guest books are in high demand. The web designer is not just a programmer, but an artist who must create visually appealing sites. In addition to building web sites, web designers must also often be responsible for maintaining and updating them.
